Conformity and Market Surveillance

Basic information

Requirements are only effective if they are complied with. Regulatory ambitions should be complemented with effective conformity procedures, regular market surveillance, and dissuasive penalties to ensure the level playing field and not disadvantage market players that have invested in compliance. Eurovent generally supports stronger and more visible market surveillance and better cooperation between market surveillance authorities and the industry.
