Scope: | The Eurovent Product Group ‘Air Handling Units’ covers air handling units for non-residential purposes. It deals with air handling units and their components (e.g. air filters, energy recovery components, fans), often in cooperation with the specialist Eurovent Product Groups that cover specific components. It is the largest working group of air handling unit manufacturers worldwide and is supported by Eurovent Member Associations on a national level. The Group’s key tasks involve advocating European and national legislative initiatives on this subject, developing EN, ISO and Eurovent standards, general promotion of the industry and export initiatives, and diminishment of unfair trade barriers inside and outside Europe. Residential applications are covered by the Eurovent Product Group ‘Residential Air Handling Units’ (PG-RAHU). The Group does not deal with certification. |
