GEN – 1125.00. eTranslation is developed by the European Commission and is widely used and trusted by European and national public administrations. SMEs can now use eTranslation to translate any document or plain text between any of the 24 official EU languages, as well as Icelandic, Norwegian, Russian.
Translations
Slightly different from the information in other Eurovent GENeral Documents, it may be useful for the associations and manufacturers that the European Commission has made available this eTranslation.
eTranslation translates the text of any file with no alterations to images or formatting, and one can delete all translated data from the system after downloading to guarantee confidentiality. There is also the option to choose the domain of the source text, such as for example justice, to produce a translation that takes into account the language specificities of a sector.
Recommended Actions
Because translation is part of the daily life of many manufacturers and associations, it may prove worthwhile to make use of eTranslation as a tool in addition to other existing translation tools.
