HVAC & Refrigeration Live (HVACR Live), the UK’s only dedicated national exhibition for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration sectors will take place from 18 to 19 April 2023 at London Excel.
HVACR Live comes at a time when trade shows are seeing a resurgence in the post-COVID and post-Brexit world. European manufacturers are keen to consolidate their presence in the UK while those from further afield see the opportunity to make new trade deals directly with UK markets.
Tony Patman, Event Manager at HVACR Live said: “The wider UK HVACR markets have been crying out to meet up with each other again at a live event rather than on screen. Most of our European and international friends want to do business with UK companies, so the time is right for the industry to have a live national trade show.”
The industry has reacted positively to HVACR Live returning in 2023 with existing exhibitors signing back on and new exhibitors proactively seeking to be a part of the event while London Excel places the show within easy reach of big business and the biggest projects.
Clivet is the latest well-known brand to sign up to HVACR Live, joining other top name brands such as Toshiba, Sanhua, Frascold and many more. Andy Taylor, General Manager at Clivet said: “Clivet is very excited to be taking part in HVACR Live 23 and to have the opportunity to showcase our wide range of products to our customers old and new. We see HVACR Live as such a hugely important event in the HVAC calendar and look forward to an incredible two days of networking and business.”
“HVACR Live is well-timed and provides a great national launch-pad for the UK roll-out of SHRM Advance and other exciting new products and initiatives we are introducing,” said David McSherry, Head of Sales at Toshiba Carrier UK. He added: “It gives visitors the opportunity to see SHRM Advance first-hand, and fully appreciate the remarkable benefits it offers in terms of compactness, energy efficiency and flexibility of application.”
Humidity Solutions has said that it is “delighted to be attending HVACR Live.” Managing Director John Barker said: “Being able to showcase to the UK’s HVAC trade sector our comprehensive range of industrial and commercial humidity control equipment will allow us to demonstrate new innovations and products from the world’s leading manufacturers.”
A spokesperson from Fieldpiece said: “We chose to exhibit at the HVACR Live because we highly value meeting HVACR professionals in person and talk with them about all things related to HVACR. Meeting professionals, talking about the latest new rules and regulations and their personal challenges has always been at the heart of Fieldpiece. Exhibiting at the HVACR Live, offers us the opportunity to meet the national professionals in the UK and to learn how we can make their lives easier, faster and better.”
Paul Russon from Prihoda UK said: “Prihoda UK has a unique product, a series of diffusers made of gypsum, for installation in plasterboard walls and ceilings to create a bonded, integrated finish with the ceiling surface, ready to be sanded and painted as needed to become one with the room decor. We think the HVACR Live show reaches our target audience for HVAC professionals who are looking for something different for their customers. As ours is a very aesthetic and visual product, the HVACR Live show is the perfect opportunity for customers to see the product in the flesh, see the finished detail and talk to us directly about their needs.”
In addition to the resulting wide range of exhibitors showcasing their products and services, the event will feature a conference program covering key issues from all of the represented sectors and a host of networking opportunities.
The conference will be featuring speakers from both UK and European trade associations as well as local authorities covering aspects such as future developments in technology, how upcoming changes in legislation will impact those on the ground and real-world case studies.
Visitors can look forward to a two day fully immersive show with opportunities to talk with the experts, have hands-on experience of products, catch up with old friends and make new ones in the networking areas and events – and crucially, keep up to date on topical matters in the conference programme.
Seminar speakers include Phil Draper, Vice-Chair of the CIBSE HVAC Systems Group who will be talking about heat pumps and metering while Beyza Aykurt, Senior Market Intelligence Analyst of Eurovent Market Intelligence, will be exploring the differences between British vs European HVACR markets, and Shane Brennan from the Cold Chain Federation will be looking at reducing energy costs and promoting sustainability to cold chain operators.
With more speakers lined up to talk about topics such as the F-Gas proposals, hydrogen boilers and local councils finding innovative solutions to decarbonise housing stock, visitors will want to take advantage of this opportunity to keep themselves fully informed on a wide variety of relevant topics.
HVACR Live will culminate with the prestigious ACR News Awards being held on the evening of 19 April at the Park Plaza London Riverbank. This long-running, prestigious event showcases the best and brightest within the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
