This document defines the quantities to be measured in silencer test codes, namely noise stopping ability, flow generated noise, and aerodynamic pressure loss. It elaborates on these quantities more in depth. All these quantities are evaluated in the duct-to-duct situation. This is the English version of the Recommendation.
