The purpose of this paper is to establish guidelines for a test procedure for evaluating the performances of air cleaning devices as a function of particle size in an installation. This Recommendation describes a method of measuring the performance of general ventilation air cleaning devices in an installation. It also describes performance specifications for the equipment and defines methods of calculating and reporting the results. This document also contains paper on calculating of life cycle costs for air filters from 2005. Both are available in English.
